SEASONAL BLOOMS. COMMUNITY MOVEMENT. LITERATURE. ART. RESOLVE.
Our Story

All around us, no matter where we stand, beautiful sentiments rooted in those things that define who we are, come alive when we experience personal reflections on meaningful moments in life, and cultural narratives that resonate with our values and beliefs.
Pause with that beauty, the sentimental soil you are rooted in. Who surrounds you? Moreover, what sights and sounds bring rest, drawing you closer to the inner core of self where truth resides?
Her Roots by Nature (HRBN) is a storytelling platform created by Eartha Lowe, where interviews, reflections, and community voices come together through thoughtful narrative.
Here you'll find:
-
Conversations with creatives and community voices.
-
Reflective writing from our 'Dear HRBN' community.
-
Seasonal and place-based stories.
-
Updates from gathering and events.
This work explores the meaningful ways our stories shape how we see ourselves, each other, and the world we move through.
We hold space for voices and conversations that draw people together through lived narrative. Literature and art are woven throughout our stories, honouring creative expression as a way of seeing, reflecting, and connecting more deeply. Each piece invites readers to pause, listen, and engage in dialogue that deepens awareness and care for one another.
At its heart, HRBN Life Stories is guided by the understanding that challenge carries the seed of transformation. Through storytelling, we explore how growth can rise from difficulty, how roots strengthen beneath the surface before new life emerges.
We often forget that we are not separate from nature; we are of it. The soil around us – the people, places, and moments that hold us – shapes our growth, our self-acceptance, and our capacity for renewal as we learn to be still within life’s shifting tides: nature our guide.
Share your story. Sit with others’ truths.
Our community is made up of gardeners and plant stewards, artists and writers, book lovers and readers of the world, neighbours and seekers. We invite anyone drawn to stories that inspire, ground, and connect to walk alongside us.

Our Team
Eartha A. Lowe

An Invitation to Serve
Events Coordinator (Volunteer Role)
The Events Coordinator plays a vital role in bringing HRBN Life Stories to life beyond the page by helping create thoughtful, community-centered gatherings. This role supports the planning and coordination of small events such as story circles, conversations, workshops, and public gatherings that invite belonging and meaningful dialogue.
Working closely with the Founder and Community Engagement Lead, the Events Coordinator helps ensure each event is accessible, welcoming, and respects diverse voices. This is a meaningful volunteer opportunity for someone who values community building, cultural storytelling, and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and connected. If you feel called to help create meaningful gatherings and shared moments, we’d love to hear from you.
